OUR HISTORY

Palazzo Greco's story began in 1989, when Christoforos Christoforakis founded El Greco, one of the established hotels of Agia Galini, with a simple goal: to give visitors from around the world an unforgettable stay in Crete.

Following a complete renovation in 2026, the hotel was reborn as Palazzo Greco — a classic palazzo named in honour of the famous painter. Still run by the same family, with Michalis and Stelios Christoforakis at the helm today, Palazzo Greco now combines modern facilities and thoughtful service with the same personal hospitality the hotel was founded on.
